No work life balance, they only care about how much money they bring in at the end of the day

They don’t hold everybody to the same standard, management want the hard worker to pick up the slack but won’t say anything to the one who are lazy and just stand around. They make you work overtime all the time even after you meet the goal for the month. Management will make you work every weekend but they won’t be there.

Laid back and easy. They complain about not enough employees but hardly hire anyone

Working at Caterpillar provided me with the opportunity to collaborate with wonderful colleagues who were dedicated and supportive. The team dynamic was one of the highlights of my time there, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
However, my experience was marred by significant issues with safety protocols and management's response to concerns. Despite raising safety issues multiple times, including the inadequacy of equipment and the need for urgent repairs, there was little to no action taken. It felt as though safety concerns were consistently sidelined, with promised improvements continuously pushed back.
Supervisors often seemed ill-equipped to address these concerns effectively, lacking the necessary knowledge or initiative to implement meaningful change. This created a frustrating environment where critical safety issues remained unresolved.
While I appreciated the camaraderie among coworkers, the lack of progress on safety matters ultimately overshadowed my overall experience at Caterpillar. I hope that the company takes steps to prioritize safety and address these concerns more effectively in the future.
