This place has no job security they say they do but I promise you it doesn’t matter if you’re there 1 month to 10 years you are replaceable. What Carmax promotes and says to its employees is not matched by their actions. It’s sad what could be a great place to work is such a mess.

Great place to work with fun colleagues. Work schedule is all over the place.

I really enjoy working at Carmax. The people I work with are amazing. The only downside in my opinion is that there is no set schedule. Consecutive days off are far in between and you’re off days are typically, in between your closing shifts.

They call it combination and partnership but it’s more like submission to them and they only see what they want to see as upper management they are all children with bullying powers!

Worst place to work always looking for who is going to stab you in back by calling H/R

If you are not the same culture as them you are not worthy of being there

Company is floundering with culture

This company used to be great to work for, but you can see in the rankings for top places to work etc, CarMax keeps dropping...theres a reason - the culture since COVID has shifted in a negative way. Bring your staff back into the office for best collaboration. Remote work is not working for everyone. Also review the pay for associates, lots of people are underpaid for the current market.

This is my first sales job and I don't think I could have it any better. The managers in this location are very supportive and they train you very well.
I would advice that you be open to feedback as it is a sales job.
Overall, very fun atmosphere, flexible work schedule (as I am a part-timer and active duty military), and fair compensation.
